Did you know? The valved trumpets used today started to appear in the 1830s. Before this trumpets didn’t have valves and players could only play a limited range of notes.
The trumpet is a musical instrument with the highest register (pitch) in the brass family. Trumpets are among the oldest musical instruments, dating back to at least 1500 BC. The trumpet is used in many forms of music, including classical music and jazz.
