Schools

Get Sorted provides a range of activities for the primary schoolsm as we believe that every child's music matters. We offer school music clubs, curriculum music sessions, and music for PPA time, instrumental tuition and of course our free assemblies. We have worked in a range of primary schools and have also had the pleasure of classes visiting us at our own premises.

We cover a range of musical activities including: singing, recorders, drum shape work, percussion and instrumental tuition which includes guitars and drums. If you have a particular theme you would like us to cover by using music then please let us know. We have already carried out some very successful days using recycled materials to make music and have had an excellent response from the children. We have also carried out sound workshops and have covered other topic related work by using music.

For the secondary aged young people, we provide an alternative curriculum for those young people who need an alternative to mainstream education or for those who need an enhanced curriculum. Our alternative curriculum programmes cover education, music making and multi media. Get Sorted has a learning centre for those young people who are hard to reach or are on the verge of exclusion. We also have a range of multi-media facilities, which provide a focus for young people who again need an alternative curriculum. We also welcome group of students to study music on our premises and welcome students looking for work experience placement.
