bullet pointDid you know? The saxophone was invented by Adolphe Sax in 1841. 89

Saxophones are usually made of brass and are played with a single-reed mouthpiece similar to the clarinet and are categorized as woodwind instruments rather than brass. The sound is produced by the reed not the player's lips against a mouthpiece as in a brass instrument, different pitches are produced by opening and closing keys. The saxophone has gained in popularity since the Simpsons featured Lisa Simpson playing this fantastic instrument. Get Sorted can take you from beginner to advanced player whilst you learn at your own pace playing any genre of music.
