Did you know? The recorder was popular from medieval times and traditionally associated with birds, shepherds, miraculous events, funerals, and marriages.
The recorder is a woodwind instrument and although it is often thought of as a child's instrument, there are many excellent players who can demonstrate the instrument's full potential as a solo instrument. At Get Sorted we have recorder clubs where children can achieve success quickly and learn familiar and favourite tunes. More advanced players can even take exams through the Associated Board of Music in both classical and jazz styles on descant, treble and tenor recorders.
