






Multi-Media For Music
The Multimedia Department are offering learners the opportunity to use the new award winning state of the art music production suite CUBASE 4, which boasts a new set of VST3 Instruments and effects, a new virtual control room mixer section, enhanced score editor and a redesigned user interface to help boost levels of creativity.

Music Technology Suite
Students can use the computer suite to mix, edit and sequence their own music arrangements. Software programmes range from simple entry level to idustry standards.
Recording Studio
Our recording facilities provide an introduction to sound engineering, audio editing, pre and post production techniques. Students are able to produce their own CDs.

Video Editing Suite
Students get the chance to learn how to create their own short videos and gain the knowledge to be able to produce more advanced projects. Students will learn how to plan a video, filming and editing techniques, and have the opportunity to author onto DVD.
Graphic Design Suite
Graphic design provides students with the chance to create their own CD covers, posters etc. as well as catering for a wide range of artistic needs. All work is carried out using industry standard software.
Animation
Students have the opportunity to produce several types of animation, using a variety of resources. Exploring stop action, claymation and web-based animation, students get the chance to turn their ideas into reality.
Digital Photography / Image Manipulation
Students learn about the different elements of photography in order to develop their own style. Using professional equipment students can also apply various image manipulation techniques and practices.

DJ and MC skills: Learn to beat match, scratch and write raps.
E-jay (juniors): Basic arrangement of music using computers.
Hardware Sequencing: Using hands-on equipment to make music of a dance genre.
Come along and produce your own CD, design flyers and posters, make a film, have your singing recorded or write your
own music.
